Simplest way for me is while having the game in folder format, make a folder called GAMES in a FAT32 usb flash drive, drop the game folder in it, and then when you go to multiman's file manager, copy and paste the folder of the game you want to have on the internal HDD inside a folder called GAMES in devhdd0. alex_co.
If I remember right, there was a limit on the PS3 operating system's ability to deal with large partitions, and I was told not to bother putting in a drive bigger than 1Tb because the extra space would just go to waste. I am going to have to try this method. Thanks. you need to backup existing hard disk content to external hard disk, install new hard disk, reinstall CFW then restore backup. This is what i did, and it worked fine. The ps3 has its own backup utility, and it was really straight forward. Your mileage my vary of course.
